About Hisatsune Hospital's meal

At Hisatsune Hospital, physicians and administrative nutritionists constantly study meals for "living in good health" under the philosophy of “a balanced diet leads to a healthy body” so that we can offer such meals to everyone. Based on the guidance of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare that encourages us to select nutritious seasonal ingredients and take vegetables over 350 g per day, we try to incorporate as many vegetables as possible. Considering the condition of everybody's body, the contents of meal are determined and managed by our doctors and administrative nutritionist.
Camping meals
It is a dedicated meal for athletes. We calculate the energy, carbohydrates, proteins, lipids, vitamins, minerals etc. needed for athletes to help their daily activities. We hope this camp makes good opportunity for the athletes to review their own meals.
Selective meals
We serve selected meals three times a week (lunch on Wednesday and Thursday and breakfast on Friday). Selected meals are menu items that you can choose from two types of menu.
※ This selective meal system is not available for patients who require therapeutic diet. Please acknowledge it.
Festival meals
Festival meals, such as New Year's Day (1st January), Girls' Day (3rd March), Children's Day (5th May), Tanabata (7th July), Christmas (25th December) etc. are served. In addition, hoping that everyone can start that month luckily and spend the entire month healthy, happily, and safely, we serve red rice on the first day of every month "otsuitachi".

Nutrition guidance

Based on the instructions of a doctor, our administrative nutritionist provides guidance as for how to eat meals. Meal counseling tailored to individual symptom, such as diabetes, hyperlipidemia, hypertension, hyperuricaemia, obesity etc. is carried out. We also provide nutritional advice at any time to people who are interested in disease prevention.
